Princess of Wales

Let us not hold tears
Let us not hold tears,
For shedding them is the tribute
To the one so natural
And spontaneous.
Flow, flow
Tears
Into an eternal stream of love
Across the world
Where mortals will remember her.
Swell, swell
Tears
Into a timeless river of hope
That sends her soul
To the heaven
Through her vulnerability she gained
her strength
Through her vulnerability she gained her
strength;
Through her torment she strengthened her
compassion;
Through her being denied love she increased
her capacity to love;
Through her suffering from the artificiality
of modern times she showed what it was to be genuine;
Through her worldly decline she elevated her
spiritual height;
Through her being ill-treated she added to
her humanity;
Through her destruction she achieved
triumph;
Through her being humiliated she humbled the
arrogant;
Through her misfortune she gave her helping
hand to the less fortunate;
Through her coming down to people she raised
her real status to sainthood;
Through her being disowned in her own
country she had the whole world in love with her;
Through her losing her identity she found
her true mission in life;
Through her death she gave love, compassion
and humanity to all.
